Michelle also wrote and directed the micro budget feature "Woman of the House", a female-centric dramedy about a novelist trying to enjoy her midlife crisis despite her judgmental friends. A semi-finalist at Academy-qualifying Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival, “Woman of the House” won the audience choice award at the Mystic Film Festival, and two jury awards: “Best Actress” at NY Cinefest and “Best Ensemble Cast” at the Silver State Film Fest.
